Yona Shamir, Founder and CEO of “The Israel Center for Negotiation & Mediation (ICNM_ICN) initiated and organized international conferences in the areas of Negotiation, Mediation and Dialogue.
- Conference” Negotiation on Water in areas of conflict”
The Conference was organized by ICNM in cooperation with UNESCO-
International hydrological Program V.
It was designed to bring together water resources experts with a group of
leading authorities on negotiation and conflict management, in order to develop the approaches relevant to water management under conditions of conflict.

- “Conflict Management and Consensus Building in Planning and Development in Environmental issue
A workshop, designed as an encounter between professionals and stakeholders, in the environmental, urban and regional planning, with a group of world known leading authorities in dispute resolution. Stake holders and interested parties from industry, government agencies, environmental groups, and the interested public were invited.
