Mediation course reflects the need and the will to deal with conflicts within the hospitals and clinics and to prevent escalation of the conflicts between patients and their families and the medical team. The course provides the participants with tools which will enable them to function and deal with conflicts, prevent escalations, and even settle it. Mediation is a suitable process for conflicts within the health system, to reach an understanding, to prevent hostility which will lead to costly lawsuits.

Course duration is 60 academic hours. It is an interactive course and includes lectures, exercises and simulations which enable the participants to experience the mediation process. It provides the participants theory, and practical tools for the future mediator.

The course is recognized by the Gadot Committee, Ministry of Justice.
